The Province of Ontario has passed legislation establishing a funding system for the collection and recycling of designated electronic products. Under the current law and regulations, the following products sold into Ontario will be subject to a Provincial Environmental Fee:
Desktop computers $13.44
Laptops/netbooks $2.14
Computer monitors (LCD & CRT) $12.03
Printers $5.05
Peripherals (Mouse, Keyboard, Optical Drive, Disk Drive) $0.32
Televisions (All sizes) $10.07
